Position Description Operates one or more photocopying office machines to make copies of documents such as letters, reports, directives, manuals, articles and bulletins. Operates small binding machines. Performs clerical duties associated with the request for printing and photographic services. Prepares assembly sheets and printing requisitions with specifications for printing and binding. Keeps record of work, and delivers and picks up work. Performs minor repairs and preventive maintenance. Maintains an inventory of supplies and parts needed for reproduction equipment. Coordinates repairs with vendors.

Document Control Specialist |

This position requires the equivalent of a high school diploma and a minimum of two years experience in document control. Performance of this task order does require access and does authorize access to classified information up to and including the SECRET level and will have a DD254. This task order does require proposed contractor personnel to have an existing favorable adjudication of the results of the background investigation. This task order does require human‐subjects research assurance certification by the contractor performer.

Duties:
1. Maintains master document lists as required by CAP/CLIP/QA.
2. Maintains electronic/paper copies, and distributes QA approved control document electronic
templates for standard operating procedures, test methods, and other documentation as required.
3. Maintains a centralized documentation system for all laboratory records, SOPs and forms, and keeps
record of all document numbers, document versions, superseded documents and retired documents for
reference.
4. Distributes current forms and SOPs as approved by Quality Assurance to the laboratories for their
reference and use.
5. Updates the laboratory intranet website, which provides an electronic form of all current SOPs, forms,
Permits, and laboratory certificates.
Work Environment
Office work environment with limited exposure to a clinical laboratory.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Knowledge of GCP/GLP/GMP regulations.
2. Knowledge of a centralized documentation (version control) system.
3. Must have excellent computer, writing, and communication skills.
4. Skilled in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, graphic, email, and database software.
5. Ability to plan and prioritize work as directed.
6. Ability to do long periods of repetitive work.
7. Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
8. Ability to be a self‐starter and work without direct supervision.
9. Ability to have attention to detail and be extremely organized.
10. Ability to interface with senior scientists, vendors and research staff.
